Due to exchange rate fluctuations , the following fees will take effect from 1st of January 2008.
All fees have to be paid when submitting the application. All fees are to be paid in ZAR. The fee is a consideration fee. The fee will not be returned if the case is refused or withdrawn.

The following categories are exempted from visa fee:
-children under 6 years
-School pupils, students, post graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purpose of study or educational training.
-Researchers from third countries travelling within the community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research as defined by the European Parliament and council recommendation 2005/761/EF of 28 September 2005.
-close family member of EU/EEA citizen. It is a demand that that EU/EEA citizen execute his/her right to free movement.
Spouses of EU/EEA citizens and their children, under 21, do not pay the administrative fees for the processing of the visas. Copies of spouses EU/EEA Passport, full marriage(birth certificates must be submitted with the application as proof of relationship with the EU/EEA spuse/parent.
